Publications

My published work includes Khel Khelat Rahato Umbra (Copercoin Publications, 2021), a collection of poems reflecting on identity and memory; the play collections Anandbhog Mall and Pulakhalacha Bombalya Maruti (Watermark, Pune, 2017), and F1/105 and Sindhu, Sudhakar, Rum ani Itar (Watermark, Pune, 2017), which explore urban life, desire, and power with irony and introspection; and Kamwalya Baya (Rekhatan Prakashan, 2005), my adaptation of Jean Genet’s The Maids reimagined in a Marathi cultural landscape.

I have also written short-stories, one-act plays, street plays, adaptations, and translations. They are published in various journals including Yugwani, Anushtubh, and Parivartanacha Watsaru,

Collaborative work has been an important part of my practice. I have co-authored plays and worked as a dramaturg, often within collective and process-driven modes of making.

My editorial and research work sits at the intersection of creative practice and critical inquiry. I edited The Greatest Marathi Stories Ever Told (Aleph Book Company, 2022), an anthology presenting key works from the Marathi short-story tradition. I have co-edited Performance Making and the Archive (Routledge India, 2022), which examines how performance engages with archival and historical material, and Art Writings in Marathi (Sharjah Art Foundation, 2022), a volume that revisits early modernist art criticism in Marathi.

In addition, I publish and edit हाकारा । hākārā, a bilingual online journal in Marathi and English that brings together critical and creative forms of expression.

Together, these works form an ongoing dialogue between creative practice and research, and they continue to shape how I think about bhavtal, human relationships, and cultural practices.
